It was amazing watching my son use the methods in his games over the weekend and even tried to explain/help out his teammates with it. We now discuss the mental side of the game before he goes bed. He asks questions about things that happened in games and practice and we're breaking it down and fixing mistakes. This book was an absolute gem for us highly recommend for the young ball player.

Our kiddo is a 10U travel player who has been stuck in a rut, oftentimes feeling not good enough or as good as the other players on her team. We've put in countless hours over the past few months improving her skills--she's legitimately a GOOD player--but the mental side of the game hadn't caught up to her skill level yet. Enter this book (which she read in a day and was so excited to share with her team)... This totally reframed softball to her. She came downstairs proclaiming, 'Mom, I thought softball was just the plays we make but most of it is in our heads!' We have seen her honed in and implementing the strategies this book has taught her the past two weeks. She has worked on her pre pitch routine--and it's working. She made two HUGE plays this past weekend. When we asked her how she did it she said, 'all of the practice and that book that you got me!' Just saw a second one came out and we have already ordered :).

Great book! The lessons in this book are invaluable. they have helped both my boys (9 and 11) with their mental approach. Taking time to fully integrate the lessons but both have read more than once. Best part is the book reads a lot like a fiction book and gets them into the story not just boring do this do that etc. Even the 6yo daughter likes listening!

Excellent book! Fun to read and easy to understand. Got them for our whole team and love the coaches guide. We are seeing the results on the field and parents are asking how? It's teaching the mental game.

This book is great for kids struggling with being too hard on themself. It’s written from a kid’s perspective so it is very relatable to the child. My son is 7 and I feel it has helped give him tools to relieve some of the pressures of bad plays. It’s still a struggle for him, but with the tips from this book, practice and patience, I think it’s helping. I recommend!

I think every young softball athlete should read this book. It’s amazing in helping change the head game of my young softball player. I’ve even suggested it to our coach. It’s a great read.
